Sunday Musings

Date: Sunday, December 16, 2007

Mood: Chillin'

Quiet here--well, at least right now. I called the low-cost spay-neuter folk Friday (shh--don't tell the twin 'Meses). Ever heard a Siamese talk? In heat? In stereo? Chung (the Himalayan) and I are clinging to our sanity. Cass and Pol, thankfully both indoor kitties, too, will have a surgical surprise awaiting them in the new year.

Ready for a daily gem? This is from a card my mother and dad brought back from Ireland and gave to my children, affectionately known as Miss A and Mr. C:

"If nobody smiled and nobody cheered,
And nobody helped us along,
If each every minute looked after himself,
And the good thinks all went to the strong;
If nobody cared just a little for you,
And nobody thought about me,
And we all stood alone to the battle of life,
What a dreary old place this would be."

Amen! Thanks to each of you who are "encouragers" to those you meet during your walk in life each day. Bravo!
